The Taunton Thespians presented Twelfth Night at Corfe Barton, raising £1,818 through ticket sales, a raffle, bar proceeds, and sponsorship from Leonardo UK. The event took place on Friday, July 24, with guests arriving from 6.30pm, enjoying the warm evening with picnics against the backdrop of Pickeridge Woodlands. Somerset Sight Trustee Richard Barton thanked supporters and highlighted the charity’s work for more than 3,500 people affected by sight loss across Somerset. The performance was part of a two-week outdoor tour by the Taunton Thespians, who performed at ten venues across the county. The cast entertained the audience with Shakespeare’s comedy of mistaken identity and romance, receiving warm applause as darkness fell.
