New Zealand’s tourism sector is again drawing strong buyer interest, with a clear surge in demand for tourism-related businesses nationwide.
Latest data from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) confirms tourism remains New Zealand’s second-largest export earner, contributing billions annually.
NZBizBuySell reports increased enquiry levels for tourism business opportunities, including accommodation, tours, hospitality and adventure operations.
Matt Stevenson, director of NZBizBuySell, says interest in tourism opportunities is strong and growing.
“While a growth market is desirable when buying any business, tourism buyers still need to ensure the business is solid and has a future,” he says.
