The Pathways to Apprenticeships event was hosted by Thurrock Council at the Inspire Employability and Skills Hub in Grays on July 30. It brought together colleges, training providers and careers specialists to help young people learn more about the opportunities available to them. Attendees were able to speak directly with experts about apprenticeships, further education, training programmes and career pathways. Milena Bingley, councillor responsible for education, skills and children's services, said: “We are committed to ensuring our care leavers have access to the support and opportunities they need to build successful and fulfilling futures. “Thank you to all of the local organisations and colleges that came down to lend their support.”
