Kolmar Korea posted record revenue and profit for the second straight quarter, crossing 100 billion won ($70.7 million) in operating profit for the first time as demand for skincare and suncare products surged. The Korean unit led the growth, with revenue of 430.4 billion won and operating profit of 70.8 billion won. "Orders in skincare and suncare rose on indie brands' global expansion and the suncare peak season," a company official said. Overseas, China remained the largest contributor by revenue at 57.9 billion won, while the US and Canadian units posted 17.8 billion won and 9.2 billion won, respectively. Among its subsidiaries, cosmetics packaging maker Yonwoo returned to profitability, posting 7 billion won in operating profit, while biohealth unit HK inno.N saw operating profit climb 53.6 percent to 30 billion won.
