The KBO League crossed the 9 million mark in cumulative attendance as play resumed following its break during the summer heat. The Korea Baseball Organization said 67,134 spectators attended Tuesday's five games, raising the 2026 season total to 9,049,365. The league has reached each million-fan benchmark from 1 million through 9 million faster than in any previous season. With attendance running ahead of the 2025 season, when the KBO surpassed 12 million spectators for the first time, another league record is within reach. Samsung has the highest average attendance at 23,352 per game, ahead of LG at 22,761 and Doosan at 21,345.
