Parliamentarians Ngodup Dorjee and Kunchok Rinchen Continue Official Visit to Doeguling Tibetan Settlement in Mundgod

Post Views: 370Dharamshala: As per the programme of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, parliamentarians Ngodup Dorjee and Kunchok Rinchen continued their official visitation in Doeguling Tibetan Settlement in Southern India’s Mundgod.
On 9 August, the two parliamentarians arrived at the main community hall of Doeguling Settlement, where they were warmly received by local residents offering traditional white silk scarves (khatags).
The programme commenced with welcome and introductory remarks by Settlement Officer Rinchen Wangmo.
In the presence of the Tibetan Local Assembly chairperson and the Settlement Officer, the gathering then heard addresses from the two parliamentarians.
They also briefed the gathering on the resolutions adopted during the first session of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.
