Amavi, a new Mediterranean restaurant at The Parade in Marlborough, announced it had opened on Sunday, August 9. The empty building has been transformed into a colourful restaurant that will serve food inspired by the culinary traditions of Greece and Italy. “We immediately saw not what it was, but what it could become, a welcoming place where people could gather, celebrate and enjoy exceptional Mediterranean food. The opening of the new town centre restaurant has been celebrated by Marlborough Town Council. A spokesperson said: “We're delighted to welcome Amavi Mediterranean Brasserie, a brand-new Mediterranean restaurant, to Marlborough.
