Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday hit out at the Opposition, accusing them of running away from the debate on the students’ issue and disrupting Parliament proceedings.
Offering a 24-hour window for a debate in Parliament, Amit Shah said that he would remain present in the House from 3 pm today until late at night.
I will sit in the House and will give a detailed reply at 3 pm on Thursday,” Amit Shah told reporters, breaking the silence on the Opposition protests against him.

I will also discuss why you did not allow the discussion to take place,” Shah said.
