Bengaluru: The Election Commission of India has termed actor Prakash Raj’s allegation that his name was deleted from the electoral roll as baseless. The Bengaluru Central City Corporation said his name was present on the electoral roll when the data was frozen for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). According to officials, when a Booth Level Officer (BLO) contacted Prakash Raj, he reportedly confirmed that he had shifted from his registered address and had not been residing there for the past four years. Officials clarified that Prakash Raj can register or update his voter details at his current residence by submitting Form 6. The civic body also confirmed that the allegations made in the circulating video were verified and found to be false.
