A Battle Creek teen was injured following a shooting last weekend, according to police. The incident happened near Sunset Party Store on West Michigan Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. When police arrived on the scene of the shooting, they located an 18-year-old who had sustained a wound in his upper body. The alleged shooter was no longer at the scene, according to officials. The teen who was shot was unarmed and taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
