One person was injured as a result of a motorcycle versus deer accident in Porter Township. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash just before 7:15 p.m. Friday, where Kurt Bowman, 74, of Union, was driving his motorcycle south on Sunset Boulevard. He was south of the intersection of Indiana Lake Drive when a deer jumped out in front of him, causing a collision. Bowman was taken to Elkhart General Hospital and treated for his injuries.
