Crowell partner Kate M. Growley has received an ABA Presidential appointment to serve as co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Cybersecurity Legal Task Force for a one-year term beginning in August 2026. Kate is a founding member of the firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group and part of the firm’s AI Steering Committee. The ABA Cybersecurity Legal Task Force works to educate attorneys, policymakers, and the public on cybersecurity risks, data protection, and cyberattack response. The committee also coordinates the ABA’s analysis and assessment of cybersecurity-related proposals, helping shape informed legal and policy discussions in this rapidly evolving area.
