Swedish restaurant wholesaler Snabbgross, part of retail group Axfood, has appointed Robert Stekovic as its new managing director and a member of Axfood’s executive committee. ADVERTISEMENTHe currently serves as chief customer officer at Lidl Sweden, overseeing commercial and customer strategy. Prior to this, Stekovic held several leadership roles at Lidl Sweden, Lidl Denmark and Lidl Croatia, as well as at Lidl International in Germany. In addition, he also served on the board of Lidl Sweden and Lidl Denmark. Recently, the Swedish retail firm reported 'stable earnings' growth in the second quarter of its financial year, with Hemköp seeing good sales growth.
