Gaffney – Billie “Granny Sue” Allen Hammett, of 2421 Pacolet Hwy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 7th, 2026 at The Peachtree Centre at the age of 93. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 from 7:00-8:30pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at 11:30am, in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel, with Pastor Will Vergara officiating. David Hammett, Shandon Hammett, Dylan Davis, Matt Davis, Tim Clayton, Landon Hammett, and Chris Hammett will serve as pallbearers. The Gaffney location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Hammett family.
