Residents and shoppers raised significant concerns around Asda supermarket in Radford Road, including aggressive begging, anti-social behaviour and experiencing feelings of unsafety. Nottinghamshire Police, working in partnership with Asda supermarket, launched an operation in April 2024 to tackle the problems facing the area. New figures have now shown that reported incidents of aggressive begging on the Asda forecourt have fallen by more than 80 per cent over the three-year period. Between April 2025 to March 2026, there were 39 incidents of anti-social behaviour at the supermarket compared to 287 incidents reported in April 2023 to March 2024.
