The ceremony, held at Wimborne Town Football Club, honoured volunteers, businesses, schools, and individuals for their outstanding support of young carers and their families across Dorset and beyond. Tim Sills, head of fundraising at MYTIME Young Carers, said: "The Community Hero Awards are our opportunity to say thank you to the incredible people who stand beside young carers every day. Volunteers, businesses, schools and inspirational individuals have been recognised for their outstanding commitment to supporting young carers at the MYTIME Community Hero Awards 2026. "Their compassion and commitment help young carers know they are not alone, and for that we are enormously grateful." The evening included a buffet, networking, and inspiring stories from the MYTIME community, culminating in the awards ceremony.
