We spoke to Arbroath architect Lee Fotheringham to find out which buildings stand out most to him.
Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa, CarnoustieLee is also impressed by the Carnoustie Golf Hotel, which opened in 1998 as the only hotel in the world to directly look straight up the fairways of both the 1st and 18th holes of a major championship course.
Scurdie Ness lighthouse, FerrydenAnother building on Lee’s list is the Scurdie Ness lighthouse in Ferryden, which has been guiding ships into Montrose Harbour since 1870.
