President Ilham Aliyev: As you know, the creation of the Zangezur corridor was our initiative. Our position is that in the territories located in the main part of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Railways is already finalizing all the work, and there is no need for any foreign participation there. As for the rehabilitation of the Nakhchivan railway, an international consortium could, in principle, be established here. It is ready, and it was constructed specifically for the Zangezur energy corridor. Zangezur, Nakhchivan, and Garabagh constituted a single space, and the migration of people took place over centuries.
