Joe Deacy was just 21 when he suffered the brutal death after a night out.
The young man played for St Colmcilles GAA club in the UK where he lived in St Albans, Hertfordshire, and he often visited Ireland on holiday.
Joe considered himself to be from Mayo, which was where his paternal grandparents were from, and he loved staying with relatives.
