TOKYO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 12th Aug, 2026) A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Kumamoto Prefecture on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu on Wednesday, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said. The earthquake's epicentre was at a depth of 10 km, the JMA said.
