Remote working: Scottish Government stops publishing office attendance figures
['Exclusive', 'Rebecca Mccurdy']

The hybrid working policy has come under significant scrutiny internally, but also externally as the government faces pressure to address rarely occupied and taxpayer funded buildings.
The Herald has now learned that a key metric for recording the average monthly attendance of core civil servants will not be shared with the public.
But the Scottish Government has not revealed the average monthly percentage for core civil servants since then.
In Glasgow’s Atlantic Quay, average monthly attendance for core civil servants in October and January was 34.5% and 32.5% respectively.
Civil servants subjected to the hybrid working request described it as “humanely insensitive” in documents obtained by The Herald last year.
