Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched a package of 20 missiles at Zaporizhzhia overnight, including ballistic missiles, Zirkon hypersonic missiles, and KAB glide bombs, in one of the largest mixed-origin attacks on the city in recent weeks.
The military said the assault included missiles supplied to Russia by North Korea, marking the latest use of Pyongyang-origin weapons in long-range attacks against Ukrainian cities.
Officials said the attack began shortly after midnight, with air-defense crews engaging multiple inbound missiles across several districts as explosions were reported throughout the city.
