LEADERSHIP IS A THEME I’ve been thinking about of late. I’ve been thinking about the kinds of leaders I’ve worked with and two in particular stand out. Not because they embody all the things I believe are important in leadership, but because of one thing that defined each of them for me. What Rothman did better than anyone I’ve ever known was to hire talented people and give them the rope. Like Rothman and Levinger, leaders don’t have to get everything right.
