GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg assures measures to prevent drinking water shortage

GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg visited the town service reservoir that caters to the drinking water needs of the people living within the jurisdiction of GVMC in Visakhapatnam and said that the authorities are taking all possible steps to prevent drinking water shortage.
He said that the water in Mudasarlova reservoir and other reservoirs has decreased and that they would be supplying water to these reservoirs from the Yeleru canal.
He said that the water supply problem is very severe in six areas, which include Arilova, KRM Colony and Pothina Mallayyapalem.
He said they have been getting continuous supply of water for two days and that they have increased the time from 30 to 45 minutes.
The commissioner also said that free water tankers would be arranged for the problem areas.
