The Bald Range wildfire near Summerland continues to challenge crews, with BC Wildfire Service reporting Monday growth even as winds remained relatively light. Among the concerns in the Bald Range wildfire is the burning of an area dump, and Chapman said that's a concern that extends to wildfire fighters, as well. The Bald Range wildfire west of Summerland has grown to 17,802 hectares as 100 more firefighters from Mexico arrive Tuesday morning.
