Having visited the theme parks closer to Manchester a number of times, we decided to try somewhere new for the school holidays - Thorpe Park.
Thorpe Park is also Merlin-owned, but it isn't on the same scale as Alton Towers, which was actually a relief knowing we wouldn't have those long treks from one section to another.
