Eluru : Around 30 passengers were injured when a private travel bus collided with a parked lorry on the Greenfield Highway near Putlagatlagudem village in Jangareddygudem mandal of Eluru district on Wednesday morning. According to police, an Intercity Smart Private Travels bus travelling from Hyderabad to Kakinada rammed into a lorry that was parked on the highway. The impact of the collision left several passengers injured, while the bus driver became trapped inside the damaged cabin. Upon receiving information, personnel from the Jangareddygudem and Lakkavaram police stations rushed to the accident site and launched a rescue operation. The injured passengers were taken to the Jangareddygudem Area Hospital for treatment.
