Spread the wordSuper Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala has reiterated the readiness of the team to wrestle and secure the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup insisting that the Justine Madugu side cannot afford to miss the mundial.
Nigeria missed the opportunity to secure automatic qualification for Brazil 2027 following a 1-0 defeat to the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Oshoala believes the Super Falcons must avoid adding to the disappointment of Nigerian football fans by missing out on the women’s tournament following the non qualification of the Super Eagles.
The World Cup ticket is at stake, so this is the time when we really need everyone to support the team,” Oshoala was quoted by ESPN.
“We already know the Super Eagles didn’t qualify so we know what is at stake and we know how Nigerians feel about this.
