Emirati women are playing a bigger role in the UAE private sector, with more entering skilled jobs, leadership positions, and new industries. The report found that 69.8% of Emirati women working in the private sector are aged 35 or below. This means Emirati women are not only joining the workforce in larger numbers, but also reaching decision-making roles. 71.5% hold skilled positionsAccording to the ministry, 71.5% of Emirati women working in the private sector hold skilled positions. Overall, skilled Emirati women account for 98.4% of all Emirati women employed in the private sector.
