Google has added Venmo as a payment option on Google Play in the United States, allowing users to pay for apps, games, subscriptions, add-ons, and other digital content. Users can connect Venmo through the payment methods section of their Google Play account settings. Google Expands Digital Payment ChoicesGoogle announced the Venmo integration in an official Google Play post published on August 10. Sensor Tower reported that global in-app purchase revenue across iOS and Google Play reached $167 billion in 2025, an increase of about 10% from the previous year. The Venmo option is currently focused on Google Play customers in the US.
