SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign had evolved into a festival of people’s consciousness and a tradition of national pride, urging people to uphold the spirit of the Tricolour in their thoughts, character and actions. Sinha made the remarks while addressing the Tiranga Mahotsav at the Botanical Garden in Srinagar after flagging off a Tiranga Yatra from the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). He said the campaign, launched in 2022, was aimed at strengthening the people’s respect and emotional connection with the National Flag. The Lieutenant Governor said the achievement should not be viewed merely as a ranking but as an expression of national consciousness in Jammu and Kashmir. Sinha said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ campaigns represented the aspirations of a Jammu and Kashmir that was moving towards development, confidence and greater national integration.
