Appeal for historic memories of Birmingham's three reopened railway stations
['Solihull Editorial']
The Solihull Observer
AN APPEAL has been launched for memories and memorabilia relating to the new Birmingham stations on the Camp Hill Line.
The project seeks to preserve the stories, history, and heritage linked with the railway lines, celebrating local communities’ role in the railway.
However, more than 80 years later, residents have been reconnected to Birmingham city centre, with new services opening across the three original stations in April.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Railway said: “These railway lines have played an important role in their communities for generations.
Anyone wishing to share memories, photographs or memorabilia should email: [email protected] to get involved.
