Guests can donate pre-packed backpacks, empty backpacks and new school supplies at participating Monterey’s Little Mexico and Casa Olé restaurants through September 1Casina Hospitality is partnering with BEAR…BE A Resource to collect new backpacks and unopened school supplies for at-risk and CPS-involved children throughout the Greater Houston area. Now through September 1, guests are invited to donate new backpacks and unopened school supplies at four participating Casina Hospitality restaurants: Monterey’s Little Mexico in Greenspoint, Humble and Alvin, and Casa Olé in Pasadena. Casina Hospitality and BEAR hope to collect as many school-supply donations as possible. Guests may contribute backpacks pre-packed with new school supplies, new empty backpacks or individual loose school-supply items. Through programs focused on basic necessities, school supplies, holiday gifts and other supportive resources, BEAR works to provide comfort, dignity and encouragement to children facing difficult circumstances.
