KAMPALA, MAY 30, 2017(CISA) – Archbishop Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala has urged faithful never to be ashamed of the Catholic faith. “You should be strong in your faith and never be ashamed to make the sign of the cross in public or before anyone else who is not Catholic,” said Archbishop Lwanga. On his part, Fr Jude Ssemmambo, who is in charge of publicity, said the Uganda Martyrs Day celebration is intended to promote Uganda Martyrs trail further. Thereafter, they proceeded to their final destination St. Matia Mulumba Parish for Holy Mass led by Bishop Vincent Kirabo of the animating diocese of Hoima assisted by Archbishop Dr Cyprian Lwanga ahead of the Uganda Martyrs Day Celebrations on June 3. The walk was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Moses Ali who represented Prime minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda.
