Located in the Tai Koo Li Chengdu complex – which, like the hotel, is owned by Swire Pacific – the property was renamed Upper House Chengdu last year, when the company decided to create a unified branding for all of its “houses”. The other two hotels in the Upper House portfolio are Upper House Hong Kong and Upper House Shanghai, formerly known as The Middle House . Just like its sister properties, which have become destinations in their own right, Upper House Chengdu seamlessly weaves into the city’s urban fabric. As you would expect from an Upper House property, the 100 rooms and suites, and 42 serviced apartments are comfortable and luxurious mini pied-à-terres.
