Boston Red Sox catcher Adley Rutschman felt comfortable behind the plate in his debut Tuesday and reached base three times vs. the Blue Jays. Rutschman started at catcher and batted third after the Red Sox activated him from the injured list Tuesday. The Red Sox acquired him from the Baltimore Orioles at the August 3 trade deadline while he was recovering. Rutschman’s health remained the most important development from his Red Sox debut. The Red Sox did not get the result they wanted, as the loss extended their skid to four games.
