The Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC) has officially inaugurated the executive members of the Central Zone, urging them to avoid engaging in partisan politics.
Among those inaugurated was Francis Boro, a descendant of Isaac Boro, who was inaugurated as the Information Officer of IYC Central Zone.
Okotete urged members of the executive council to focus on the Ijaw struggle, as exemplified by the late Isaac Adaka Boro.
Dr. Enebraye Orusengha, the newly appointed Chairman of the Central Zone executive, pledged to serve with dedication, purpose, and integrity, promising to safeguard the interests of all Ijaw people.
Furthermore, the Central Zone leadership emphasized the importance of unity among Ijaws, urging a spirit of brotherhood and cooperation.
