Rescue teams are searching for several people feared trapped. Mumbai: Two people have died after a landslide occurred in Mumbai's Kurla area early Wednesday morning, with several others feared trapped under the debris. A major rescue operation is underway at the site, with teams from the BMC, police, NDRF and other agencies deployed. The landslide occurred at Gaushiya Chawl in Chirag Nagar, near Rathod Medical, at around 3:48 am, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Officials said the number of people feared trapped is still being assessed.
