EAST GRAND FORKS — An East Grand Forks food bank is set to give away thousands of pounds of produce.
It will happen at the parking lot at North Country Food Bank, 1011 11th Ave.
ADVERTISEMENTThe nonprofit hosted a similar event last week, giving out 24,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables.
Leaders say they're looking out for families affected by rising costs, and there's a short time window for the food to find a home.
It'll take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, or until supplies run out.
