Danville man arrested for neglect after more than 10 dogs found in waste-filled homeDANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A 52-year-old Danville man is facing a felony neglect charge after police found more than 10 dogs living in “severe” conditions Tuesday. Police, community members, and Hendricks County Animal Care & Control captured several dogs. He faces a preliminary, low-level felony charge of neglect of a vertebrate animal involving more than 10 dogs. Under Indiana laws that took effect July 1, 2026, prosecutors can seek felony charges in severe neglect cases.
