Brig have already begun their West Yorkshire Association Football League campaign, starting last weekend, while FC Farsley get underway in midweek. Formerly Farsley Celtic, the phoenix club of FC Farsley is run now by the Stockdale family. Farsley open their campaign at South Leeds tonight, before a long-awaited return to Throstle Nest to face Collegians this Saturday. The John Palmer pitch is named after their beloved former chairman. As chairman, the club went from strength to strength, securing three promotions in his nine years at the helm as chairman.
