Bengaluru: Food safety officials flagged alleged unhygienic conditions during a raid at a Zepto warehouse in Bengaluru on Tuesday. Health officials described the conditions at the Zepto warehouse as “extremely unhygienic,” raising concerns over the storage of food products there. Other violations included “non-compliant labelling, misbranding and unhygienic food handling”. We remain committed to continuously strengthening our processes and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.” Complaints regarding food premises, packaged food, and quick-commerce platforms should be made through FSSAI’s Food Safety Connect system.
