MOORHEAD — Moorhead voters picked DFL-endorsed Erika Yoney as the DFL nominee for a seat representing Moorhead in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
During the Tuesday, Aug. 11 primary election, Moorhead voters chose between Yoney and current Moorhead Mayor Shelly Carlson to be the DFL nominee for the House District 4A seat.
Yoney was also endorsed by Rep. Heather Keeler, who currently represents District 4A in the Minnesota House.
The House District 4A seat is currently held by Keeler, a DFLer first elected in 2020.
In November, voters in Minnesota House District 4B will decide between incumbent Republican Rep. Jim Joy and DFLer Thaddeus Laugisch.
