Whether it was due to a slip or just a brief mental lapse, Jazz Chisholm completely blew a successful challenge on Tuesday night. Chisholm, in the eighth inning of the New York Yankees' 4-1 win over the Seattle Mariners, drew a walk after successfully challenging what was initially called the third strike while he was up to bat. The ball was clearly outside of the strike zone after a review, so the Yankees star made his way over to first. He was caught way too far off the bag, and was easily tagged out by the Mariners in a half-hearted pickle. AdvertisementAdvertisement AdvertisementThe win pushed the Yankees to 67-52 on the season.
