Minnesota Lynx veteran guard, Kayla McBride, has been named the WNBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of August 3-9. Thought the week she averaged 24.3 points over three games, helping the Lynx win two games against Dallas and Las Vegas. In Minnesota’s win over the Aces, McBride broke the WNBA single-game three-points made record, knocking down 10 from downtown while also dropping 43 points. McBride and Minnesota will begin a four game road trip on Wednesday night beginning with a matchup in Portland against the Fire.
