RENTON — Cornerback Devon Witherspoon remains everywhere on the football field at Seahawks training camp practices, and as “Hard Knocks” showed last week, usually keeping up a running commentary along the way. Witherspoon is under contract for two more years after the team picked up an option for the 2027 season in March. “I’m not worried about that right now,” Witherspoon said Tuesday. Witherspoon indicated he had given no thought to potentially sitting out while his contract situation is in flux. Backup running back Jacardia Wright also again sat out leaving the Seahawks with just four healthy running backs.
