Nepal-based gang member detained under Preventive Detention Act in HyderabadHyderabad: Hyderabad Police on Tuesday detained Nepal-based gang member Sunil Bahadur Aauji alias Sunil Pariyar under the Preventive Detention Act. The detention order was issued by the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, on Monday. Accordingly, he was detained under Section 3(2) of the Telangana Prevention of Dangerous Activities Act, 1986. Sunil Bahadur came to adverse notice in connection with a serious murder-for-gain case registered in Jubilee Hills Police Station, under Sections 103(1), 309(2) and 317(3) of the BNS. Accordingly, he was detained on Tuesday under the PD Act and lodged as per procedure.
