The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the exercise, which started on Monday, is organised by the state Primary Healthcare Development Agency. It is held in partnership with the Immunisation Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) project in the 25 local government areas of the state. The IMPACT project is an initiative of the Federal Government, implemented through the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency. She lauded the improved infrastructure, modern medical equipment and increased free maternal healthcare services. Similarly, the officer-in-charge of the Model PHC, Asaba, Mrs Isioma Eboigbe, lauded the government and the IMPACT project for strengthening the state’s healthcare system.
