Salmon Arm will receive $58,000 to develop a long-term financial plan for asset management thanks to the federal government's Building Communities Strong Fund. The City of Salmon Arm's asset management plan is one of 54 community infrastructure and capacity building projects being funded across B.C. "This funding will help the city strengthen its long-term financial planning and ensure we continue making responsible investments in the infrastructure our community relies on every day,” said Mayor Alan Harrison in a statement. “Developing a comprehensive long-term financial plan for asset management will support informed decision-making and help us maintain sustainable, resilient municipal services for years to come."
