She quickly received a response from a man who reported seeing the car parked on an Oakland street. The tipster sent the family a photo of the vehicle and notified the Oakland Police Department, but the family said officers did not respond. Menlo Park police said that when the family notified them a few days later, officers reached out to the Oakland Police Department asking them to investigate the location. Menlo Park officials said Oakland officers responded to the scene at that time, but found nothing. Both police and the family are continuing their search for the suspects and the stolen vehicle.
